Rapier Belt
The original rapier belt is located in the museum for Archeology and History in Elbląg, Poland, object EM.XXX.12831. It can be dated to the late 16th or early 17th century and is probably of dutch origin.1
The reproduction of the belt and metal fittings is loosely based on the original, made to conform with Girard Thibault d’Anvers’ design rules.2
